I’m saying bye to super comprehensive, simple and clean blogging on WordPress and venturing into the super customizable space of Blogger.

I still love the stats page in wordpress and wish that I can take it with me to Blogger but no…

It’s ok…

I’ll give it a try.

Even though Pop’s not very excited by the idea coz he was an EX-Blogger.

And I keep asking myself why are ppl shifting from Blogger to WordPress??

Muz be a reason I have yet uncovered.

I’m gonna miss this lovely space which has all the crazy/lovely/exciting/sweet/FML memories over the past 2 years.

The times when me and Poppy 1st met.

The overseas trips.

The adventure with Chaoticthrift.

The tons of food we ate.

The wonderful gatherings we had.

Ok, I gotta go back to assist poppy in our Roast Chicken project now.

23rd Dec: Xmas w FS

It was a potluck event at AJ’s house, but no gift exchange dis time.

I’m just very happy to be able to meet up with these precious ppl in my life

**We are more happy and excited than we look. really..**

Just dat Kia’s not very impressed by AJ’s skill of squeezing out the wasabi.

YUCKS.

ALOT of food! and as usual, we din even finish like half of it???

And we talked till 2am

Amazing how different our lives are right now… And AJ’s leaving for Sweden on 13th Jan.

Probably half a year w/o any pri sch gathering coz he’s always the one planning

24th Dec: Mani-Pedi

Free mani pedi from mum’s fren so y not yeah…

Rushed off to do last min shopping… zzz mad christmas crowd.

Too many last min shoppers out there.

24th Dec: Christmas with Poppy

Tried to prepare at top speed, but good thing that Poppy had to drive down to office to do some stuff to his tyres and changed car w his mum, so he took another hr to reach my place (past the planned time).

Which is good, coz I JUST finished preparing then.

A place whr we dun have to get stuck in a jam, wait endlessly for carpark or queue 2 hrs to get a seat.

Quaint little French restaurant…

Extremely nice feeling to have Poppy say grace for us and to say Amen tgt

“We serve the meats red in the middle.”

We love it!

Love the food, too many things to say and compliment, but the dessert was below my expectation

So much of a chocolate fan, I hate Blackforest.

And the 72% Choc Mousse tasted like concentrated Black forest.

The lemon tart was very light and tasty, but far from anything special.

Vanilla ice cream was pretty nice though… coz u can even seen the vanilla bits inside…

Sth dat Poppy has laid eyes on for a long long time but din get for himself coz he’s saving for new lens…

I really love the box alot coz it’s full of words and really swt words

24th Dec: Church Celebration

Rushed to church aft dinner to join in the celebration…

16 of us wanted to cont celebrating so we ended up looking for movies to watch.

Most places were sold out except for….

TIONG BAHRU PLAZA.

Hah! And my last day was the day b4 lah… How coincidental

And we watched Bodyguards and Assassins. A side story abt Sun’s revolution.

Pretty nice show… Very good cast.

25th Dec: Cookies Baking

Spent Christmas day with Poppy, lazing ard, talking to Poppy, watching Clean House marathon, binging on tidbits, talking abt his new Faith and s’more last min shopping -_-

Then we started to bake cookies for his potluck and it took hours man…

And we realised that sth is wrong w our measuring tools

But the cookies were ok lah, prettier, but not as crunchy as the last time…

And aft Poppy sent me home, we sat down to prepare presents for CHAOS.

Christmas gathering w CHAOS was… as usual… chaotic.

We planned for it to be a double surprise whr we told WX we are celebrating Deon’s bday and told deon we’re celebrating WX’s bday.

Glad that everyone was able to made it although… the plan din go on time

And the WAITER who pretty much spoiled our plan for Deon…

“Oh, u guys got a cake? They have a cake inside too!”

*ARGH*

But it still went pretty much like wad we envisioned it to be

We told u it’s sth dat u wanted

CHAOS’ standard way to eat a bday cake…

The result in NEVER pretty (so is the process)…

Anw we sang from 12 to 6pm and went for dinner whr we had our gift exchange

I had a great time catching up w some lovely people and received alot of nice gifts…

But the greatest gift that I received this year…

Poppy received Christ

I’m sure it’s his greatest gift as well…

And to see so many ppl expressing their joy and excitement when they hear that he is part of the great big family of God

Yeah!

Thank God for coming to Earth for our salvation on that wonderful night 2000 over years ago and giving us the greatest gift on Earth.

Then again, both Poppy and I think that it’s worth watching even at weekend price. Of coz, Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law gave it a +++ J

I forgot abt Downey’s previous show, I rmb he was some superhero, but couldn’t point out who…

Den at the end of the show, Poppy said Iron Man.

Ahhhh…. Yes! That was another awesome show

Xmas shopping with mum ltr tonight. Super tight schedule…  2 hrs to settle everything… might need to shift my mani-pedi session to thurs -_-

Then again, it’s so near to xmas, I definitely won’t mind jostling in the crowd and experience the mad xmas shopping frenzy in town

On a more serious note, results will be out in an hr.

Hmm. Hopefully I will still be in a festive mood aft dat. Zzz…

All three choir groups came tgt during worship, and the piano was played by 2 ppl (qianning, it was really nice!! Now I noe why ur hands cramp! haha)

I realised I did not know how to appreciate the meaning and significance of baptism until I went thru his today.

Thank God for giving me a chance to experience it again.

the mission trip to Mambau, Seramban was amazing.

I know it’ll be a great experience, I just din noe it’ll be dat amazing

Throughout this entire trip, I felt God’s blessings in great abundance.

And I felt sooooo mmuch love…

Poppy received Christ on 18th Dec 09, 11.50am in Seramban

I almost cried when he ask me to turn to the page of Sinner’s Prayer and do it w him…

It was the moment I’ve been dreaming and praying abt for 2 years…

He’ll be having his baptism tmr in church

Ahhh~!!

I’m still busking in the joy of it

It really shows me God’s amazing power… And I can’t find the right words to express exactly how happy I am right now..

Really really thank God for his amazing work

And many thanks to those who have been praying for him and really concern abt him.

And to Jia Jun and Cheng Chang who spoke to him during the trip and helped to resolve some of the struggles that he had…

It’s great to see how Poppy has bonded w the guys during the trip and how involved he was in the entire process…

And I did the Sinner’s prayer w another girl from Mambau at the Christmas celebration.

It’s really great that we have the chance to bring God’s salvation to the ppl there and I hope that they have the opportunity to cont growing in their r/s w God…

I really have alot of thoughts and emotions about the mission trip, but I noe I cant express them well enuf thru words.

I just hope I can savor them for the time when I can still rmb them in my heart

U have no idea how anxious I am…

It’s really been a Series of Unfortunate Events this morning.

I broke a (GLASS) bottle of hair serum, had to clear up the broken glass bits, cut my feet while doing that, tried to clear the puddle of oil, realised that I’m running late, granny offered t help w the oil, felt damn bad abt it but had to leave her to mop the floor

Then I went to look for a top to wear and realised that both my long tunics from DP are lost, mum accused me of leaving them outside (like how u tell me? Take out my top when I’m s’whr and leave it outside? BOTH of them? Ridiculous right?!), when the more logical explanation could have been her repacking the wardrobe AGAIN and placed my tunics at some secluded corner of the house, hidden out of sight from human eyes (or at least my eyes). Anw I gave up aft a good 5 mins of futile search.

I was trying my best to hurry when one of mum’s kpo aunty fren (I have legitimate reasons for saying this) came and mum went to the kitchen, noticed I’ve broke the bottle and asked me, “why u break such a BIG bottle of oil?!” I cont to prepare quietly, hoping to leave w/o having to argue w her but thinking aloud in my head, “If I can CHOOSE what size of a bottle I will break, I won’t break such a BIG bottle of oil. Better yet, I’ll choose NOT to break ANYTHING.” **Kpo aunty chirping happily in the bkgrd, “yahlor, the bottle so big, the oil so much, now the place so dirty and oily! AIYOH”

And because my mum only saw granny cleaning up the mess, she din noe I spent 15 mins clearing up the glass bits b4 dat, so she thot I spent the whole morning just bathing and breaking that bottle of oil. So she went on reprimanding me abt being so damn slow in preparing, everyday spend so long b4 I go out,  dunno what the heck I doing… yada yada yada… And truth is I wake up at 630, I leave my hm BEFORE 730 everyday, and I was NEVER late for work. I bathe, dry my hair, make-up, eat breakfast, choose what clothes to wear, pack my bag.” I thought the time I took was quite reasonable.. no?? **Kpo aunty going,”aiyah girls all like dat one leh, have to da ban, look good, very troublesome one lah!”

I was REALLY FREAKING irritated so I grabbed my bag and left the house and as I slammed the gate shut I shouted, “I’m trying to rush here u are not helping, u’re bringing up things that is not related to the incident and thanks for making my day shittier.” (translated to chi). And I hurried off b4 I had to hear any crap comment that the kpo aunty is going to make.

Reached the MRT stn and saw a man who dropped his pants (LITERALLY) in the middle of the stn, poor guy, really (I believe it was accidental), but not a good thing to see early in the morning.

Tummy ache when I was about the reach tiong bahru so I had to rush rush rush to the office so that I can use the toilet.

Saw an old man on a wheelchair selling tissue paper in front of the stn and felt really bad coz I dun have any cash w me (rushed off in a flurry w/o even bringing any money out).

And I reached office b4 830 today (dun understand the whole fuss that my mum was making) and now I’m sitting in front of the comp w/o any breakfast

All these in the 1st 2 hrs of my day. WTH?!

But I believe… By God’s grace (and the tendency for things to regress to the mean), my day is not going to be THAT BAD.

Still… I need some serious TLC T_T

**decided not to try posting it on FML, too long-winded alrdy..**

I din even join MIX for clubbing last night at Butter I think I’m still not used to waking up so early…

Have to resort to blogging to keep myself awake (and look like I’m busy).

But internship has been a great experience so far More on it when I finally complete it on the 23rd..

**That reminds me… I have to start Christmas shopping soon!**

Been out everyday aft work and reaching home ard 12 every night. That translates to supper supper supper aft dinner dinner dinner. Will start to control my intake soon

Mtg Pops tonight (for more food I guess… I thot of gng Wala for Shirlyn and a drink or 2, but I scared I’ll be zombified the nxt day coz I’ll end up gng home ard 2am), TGIF-ing with CHAOS tmr night, church wedding on Sat aftnn, Xmas celebration with the relatives at night (**note to self: go get Kathy’s present!**), full-dress rehearsal for mission trip on Sunday and maybe a good rest and some home-cooked food at night. Or shopping w mum… haha

Then the next week comes, late night practice for mission trip on Monday, meeting FS for our annual Christmas gathering on tues or wed, leave for Seramban on Thurs morning and a great 3 days indulged in the work for God b4 rushing back on Sat morning for ZQ and Jenny’s ROM

**Now whr can I slot my tuition kids :\ **

Looking forward to Christmas, although I’m not sure what I’ll be dng. But I’ll be AROUND

Seems like Alice in Wonderland is only coming out mid next year
